Which top team will flinch?
If we're to finish in top four, one of these teams will need to bottle it. Which one is most likely? My money's on Spurs losing it. A young team, and therefore not experienced at dealing with the pressure. Arsenal and City, got the experience, and Leicester don't seem bothered. ManU look to be out of it, but who knows?

Did they not score with it and get all three points?

Leicester's goals are drying up. They only had one shot on target against Newcastle.

I'm with you there Buster, not only have they got tougher games but I think they will feel the pressure more then Leicester.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Spurs still have Liverpool and Chelsea away and Man Utd at home. Plus they have to go to Newcastle on the final day who may well need a result to stay up.

They won't win the league.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
My view is Leicester have started to tighten up and won't win it. They made heavy going vs Newcastle, & even when the 'new manager' effect is taken into consideration they were still very laboured.

Sadly, with Arsenal and City too far away, that only leaves fucking Spurs - & what a disaster that will be.

Will City/Arsenal falter enough to let us or Man U in? Maybe, but only maybe.

Man U aren't as bad as the media try to make out. We'll have a tough game against them in the replay, I think we'll beat them, but it won't be easy.

I think 5th is our realistic target although we could end up 4th if the results go our way.

I'd be well fucking happy if we got to the cup final and finished 5th. Not being negative, but that would be a brilliant season. To win the cup and finish 5th would be obviously absolutely brilliant, to win the cup and finish 4th - well, thats what our song is about ' like my dreams'..

But all in all, getting rid of Allardyce and starting afresh with Billic, this has to be a brilliant season no matter what.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Very interesting weekend of fixtures coming up:

Man City v Man Utd
Everton v Arsenal
Soton v Liverpool
Chelsea v WH

If we could get a win then I can see use cementing a place in the top 4.... even if we don't win I think it's very do able if we beat Arsenal at home, that is the key fixture for me.

Can see both Arsenal and City imploding and I think we will finish above at least one of those.

Too much to hope for that both Arse and City slip up?

Re: Which top team will flinch?
My heart would love to see Spurs stutter, my mind however thinks that they'll finish in the top 2. Leicester I pray will hold on to top spot (the thought of us beating them and then Spurs winning the title by a point is too much to bare). Man City and Arsenal are both in a weird position, I don't think City will progress beyond the 1/4 final stages of the Champions League and Arsenal are out unless there is divine intervention tonight. That leaves both of them with just the league to play for. If anybody stutters it'll be Arsenal in my view and I can see that if we continue on a good run we might just pip them to 4th.

I don't enjoy going to the Etihad (well other than when winning obviously).

I much preferred Maine Road and it's shitty surrounding area of Moss Side.

City announcing Guardiola looks to be having an effect, I thought it was weird timing when they announced it.

Would be funny if Pep takes over and they aren't in the champions league, would he still have to go there?

All 3 (THREE) Man City fans I know really seem to miss Maine Road.

Say home games are absolutely shit these days.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
There was a thing with their fans on SSN this morning about why the boo the Champions League music, all sounded a bit pathetic, to be honest.

But generally they all seem a bit bored. Fair enough I guess, its pretty soulless the way they go about things these days.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
definately think they are bored/used to being good Mac

Remember being at Wembley to see their ans going absolutely loopy their amazing comeback against Gillingham to get out of League 1

I'm sure had you told any of those fans that day they would end up so apothetic to a Champions League match they wouldn't have believed it

I've convinced myself we're going to get top 4.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Man City are in a strange position. Watched their game last night, and there were shit loads of empty seats, and the atmosphere was so bad you could hear the players talking. Now this was their chance of creating history by going the furthest they have ever been in Europe's premier competition.

Also I noticed recently they didn't fill their allocation at Anfield or Carrow Road.

Are they a bit bored of being good?

I think they're the ones we can overtake.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Let#'s see if we're still in touch after the next 4 league matches where we play 3 of the teams around us

If so then it really is time to start dreaming!

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Can't see Leicester losing another game. Spurs on the other hand have Liverpool, Man U, Chelski and Newcastle. There are 2 types of game to avoid at the end of the season - with the close competition and the dog fighters down below. I expect them to roll over West Brom and Stoke and everyone will be singing their praises, marvelling at their expansive free flowing football againsy tough teams, ignoring the fact that those teams have nothing else to play for. Then they'll come unstuck against Benitez resurgent Newcastle.

Spurs will finish in top two and we should all be pulling for Leicester as it's our only hope.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
City losing Company is big for them. And Wenger is walking and talking like a dead man.! Neither Spurs or Leicester have had a bad dip in form anytime this season. And it's looking unlikely that either will. If I was a betting man. I would put money on Arsenal filniching first. The fans are on the manager back 24/7. Most teams in the league know. They don't like it up them.! And feel they are beatable. And just finishing in the top four. Would seem a failure to everyone in the media.!
